Deatris is a customer loyalty tool for online businesses. We help store owners create detailed loyalty programs that are much more customizable than any other solution in the industry.

Customer retention is a universal challenge for every business of any size. Especially for online stores when we consider there are unlimited options in every category. We are here to solve that problem by building a for online businesses to add their website and retain customers by creating detailed loyalty programs.

We will start by developing an extension to Shopify, an e-commerce platform that enables people to create their websites easily without writing any code. While Shopify has 4.4 million store owners, there are no built-in solutions to create a loyalty program. Shopify enables third-party developers to add features to the platform as an extension to the current tools. 

We will first develop a Shopify extension for store owners to create detailed loyalty programs. They are free to choose any type of campaign they want to choose with lots of different conditions. Some examples are:

-%20  discount when you buy 5 T-shirts from the store at different times

-Free shipping for gold tier members

-Win a book when you refer 5 people and they all make their first purchase

These campaigns are unique to the store. They are able to track the performance of each campaign and compare different trends to come up with the most optimal solution that will attract customers. They can also use advanced campaign suggestions from the extension to make better decisions.

Loyalty industry is worth 4.4 billion dollars and is expected to grow by %400 until 2028. We are focusing on online retailing in the first place because we believe we can create a faster growth rate there. We are aiming for small/mid-sized stores because they need stronger tools to compete with huge marketplaces and brands such as Amazon, Nike, Zara, and Trendyol.  Our primary customer segment is 4+ million Shopify store owners. Current solutions they use for customer retention are expensive or limited as products, so they are looking for another solution with better prices and features.

Some of our competitors are:

-Smile.io: Loyalty plugin based on points and providing point rewards, tiers and referrals.

-LoyaltyLion: Loyalty plugin based on points additionally providing insights for repeated sales

-Square: A tool for powering every aspect of small/mid-sized store management. Also, it provides a point-based loyalty reward option.

Deatris, on the other hand, provides all these features that the competitors have and adds different layers of customization on top of it. Deatris users are free to create loyalty programs that reflects the brand identity and is welcoming for customers. Users pay for the service only if a customer interacts with the campaigns and they don’t have to worry about paying for a service that they won’t use it to the maximum.

Current solutions in the market are designed to address the problems in a more general manner, where store owners have limited options to create a brand-specific loyalty program. They are only allowed to create point-based programs which is not suitable for stores that want to create a much more detailed program to engage with their customers. We provide them with tools that enable any kind of campaign to be executed successfully. They can create campaigns that reflect the brand identity and increase their engagement with their customers. 

All of our competitors are charging businesses with standard subscription fees no matter how much the business benefits from them. They are charging based on total orders, not for their usage and they are charging the same amount no matter if you use your total quota or not. On the other hand, we are charging businesses based on interactions (reward usage, VIP customer count etc.) and they are paying $0.1 for every usage which means they don’t pay if they didn’t get any benefit from our service.

We are two co-founders, Ata and Yagiz. Both of us have started our careers as mobile developers. 

Then, Ata transitioned into sales and led sales teams in world’s biggest youth organization. He also managed a Shopify store which generated 5k$ in revenue. Now he’s in charge of everything related to sales and business.  He is responsible for creation of pitch decks, sales funnels and processes, getting in touch with potential clients/partners, closing deals, managing the sales team and running the operation.

After developing dozens of iOS apps for different clients, Yagiz started working as a product manager at a VC-backed German startup, Gradoo. He built and managed the internal CRM of the company. Currently, everything related to the product is his responsibility. He focuses on a smooth customer experience which is very crucial for a B2B SaaS. He takes care of the process starting from the moment a customer starts to use Deatris, leading the product team to deliver a perfect product, doing customer research and interviews to know what the customer wants, and ensuring that all the customers have a great time using Deatris.
